- March 15, 2002 - LimoNexus Version 3.0
Released
- Version 3.0 is here! LimoNexus now
features SQL Server database support. By moving to a SQL Server database,
BlueNexus has responded to our customers' growing need for a more robust
database. Anyone who runs more than three workstations simultaneously will see
a significant increase in performance with the new version. In addition to
being faster, the SQL Server database rates highly where stability and
reliability are concerned. For our customers that have outgrown a Microsoft
Access database, but are not yet ready to invest in SQL Server, Version 3.0
also runs on an MSDE database, Microsoft's free version of the SQL Server
database designed for the smaller business.

- January 21, 2002 - LimoNexus Online Moves to IBM Data
Centre
- BlueNexus' web reservation
system, LimoNexus Online, has been moved to an IBM Data
Centre. In addition to being physically secure, this facility will provide
faster Internet connections and higher levels of availability. LimoNexus Online
users can now be even more confident that their information is safe. Optimal
availability and fast access were key factors in choosing IBM as a hosting
partner. The data centre also has significant connections to international
networks, which will provide excellent performance for LimoNexus Online
users across North America, and around the world.
"The IBM Data Centre is the ultimate in physical
security," says BlueNexus president, Doug Suerich. "Our customers rely on us to
keep their mission-critical data safe and available. This move is just one more
thing we can do to provide the best possible service. That's our commitment to
our customers." You can find more
information on IBM Colocation Facilities Service in
this PDF and on the
IBM website.
